Hi, ive gotta X850PRO, oc'd to 587/600. Ive got this cooler on : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835186129

Before i put this cooler on, i was getting 40c indle, and 50c loaded. For 3 weeks after i put this cooler on, temps dropped to 34c idle and 40c ona load. Now, my temps have gone back to what they used to be, except that now i hit 57c when playing bf2 even with the fan set to 100% (getting 20 fps)... Can someone tell me why, and what I can do? Oh and btw, im using the thermal paste that the cooler came with, could that be it??

hey there

Im running an x850pro pci-x @ 580/620 with an arctic silencer as well. BF2 runs at 50-100 fps at max settings (only 4x AA) and gets up to 50-60 degrees too. you temps sound just like mine but your FPS certainly dont 8O
Whats your ambient temps on the board? could be that one of the heatpads isnt touching properly?
