how can i know bout my ram.is it ddr or ddr2.i got 512mb ram,but don't know it is ddr or ddr2.system bios says it is running at 533mhz.

Download CPU-z by CPU-id.com ... version 1.32.1 is current, I believe.

533MHz sounds like DDR2 to me...

That would be correct. If it's running at 533, it is DDR2

man that is multiplied by 2 because ddr means double data rate ;)

That's one of those MB's that takes both types of memory.
Is there a sticker on the memory that gives the specs at all?
Or a CPU-Z validator link might help, like this.

Any overclocking?

The 226 doubled would give you 452MHz.
