I've got Rogers Digital Cable system here in Canada.

They use their own Tuner boxs and not the standard Tuner's in your TV.

does anyone know of computer tuner's like this or am i stuck having to buy their box?

the Hauppage PVR-150 and up have an IR blaster built in. So you stick this little thing to where your digital cable box gets its remote signal and hook the cable output from the box into your card. Then you can set it up so that when you try to change channels with the PVR remote, it sends the signal to the cable box and changes it there instead of internally.
