One of the VP730b's most impressive features is its ability to to be raised, lowered, and rotated to suit the viewer's needs. The display itself can also be turned 90 degrees, allowing users to view their work in portrait format, as well as landscape.

The on screen display (OSD) provides a suitable range of options, including colour temperature, contrast/brightness, and image selection.

wy would u buy a 17" lcd when the 19" lcds are about the same price right now. u can get a viewsonic 8ms 19"lcd (forgot the model) for 289.00 on newegg. an even better one is the hyundia ld90+ for only 300.00. it pivots and turns in every direction+built in speakers.

There's always give and take. In this case, I think it comes down to quality. Yes, you can buy 19" monitors for the price of the VP730b. The issue is that the VP730b is a top-notch monitor and the 19" version (VP930b) is $100 more. Normally, the 1907FP is $340, but with the current sale it is running $271, $261 if you use Paypal to pay for the monitor. I was really trying to make an assessment on whether the 1907FP would be of comparable quality to the VP730b or if the sale/lower price combined with its lower(?) quality was a good compromise.

Timber: If you look at the 1907FP it actually has all of the ergonomic features of the VP730b and 5 USB ports, too. One drawback is that it has the potential of being less stable becasue it doesn't have legs extending to the rear.

try the viewsonic vx 922 nice rich colors almost no ghosting price has come down to as little as 359.00 (there is a "sale" on this monitor 329.00) for a quality monitor
i bought mine two months ago for 399.00

I had actually onsidered the VX922 or its predecessor, the VX924, but I decided to go with the VP930b/730b line for its good gaming performance and well-rounded performance outside games. With the types of games that I play, I not sure if that extra speed in gaming is worth the lower performance in other arenas and the reduction in ergonomic features.
