Best Buy has Farcry for $15 in this weeks ads. Seeing this got me thinking; it's been a few months since the Add On for Farcry PC was mentioned on Ubi's release schedule, but I have not seen any new info on it. Has anybody heard any news about the Add On? I hope it's still on track for 3rd Quarter 2005.

I haven't heard anything about an add-on. I do know about a version that's being developed for the consoles, and there's a 64bit version out (though you need a 64bit OS as well to run it) but that's about it, as far as I know.

Actually if there is going to be an add-on for the PC they better be quick about it.

I don't think they were refering to the 64 bit add-ons. At least I hope not.

In this link below, for Quarter 3(Oct-Dec)2005, they mention "farcry add-on PC". But as you can see this news came in March 2005.

I am 75% through replaying Farcry since upgrading video cards, so I've been thinking about this expansion again.

Just an update that the expansion(add-on) is still supposedly going to be released this fall. And now a farcry 2 is supposedly confirmed. And a link with more info on the movie with Jack Carver possibly being played by Bruce Willis or The Rock.

Please post any info links on the expansion if you find any good ones.

Yeah, I'm sure it will disappoint, but being the Farcry fan I am... It will be a must see for me. I hope he can stick true to the games plot. I'll pass on Doom 3 though.
