I, like other readers out there, are wondering in the fix by Microsoft or Intel has been resolved. Now I really dont care who is to blame on this at all, but my feelings after reading many reports its MICROSOFT. It doesnt suprise me that this wonderful company *cough* could not find the fix before hand. I ordered a Dell 9400/1705 model that is a duo core 2.0ghz. I hear this model from all the duo cores is the worst in the battery issue from usb 2.0. I guess it is because the usb 2.0 hub is an internal device. Now correct me if I am wrong, but are all notebooks internal for usb? Has anybody came across a fix from this? I do have a url from this person I was talking to that said this should help, but I for one cant try it because I dont have my Dell machine yet. But it will come today so if nobody tries I CAN:):):):):):) Check out this webpage and let me know if it can help. http://it.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=175466&cid=14588517

Just a quick note: We are still in contact with Microsoft about this issue. The current information is that the company is still working on a patch. We will be publishing an update on the issue within the next few days.
