I need an advice to make choice of “all on-board” (LAN, VGA, Sound card, comes with the board) kind of mobo, for standard office usage,

Thanks,

ups sorry for the lack info in my previous post,

the mobo should be Intel P4 compatible, price range is flexible, but if I can get a cheap and good stable mobo that would be perfect!

Here is a MSI motherboard for $69

or another MSI for $53

But all depends on CPU and memory type. Are you just upgrading existing systems or a total new build?

Edit: If its a new build and to be used in the office I would suggest an AMD solution. Maybe Micro-ATX Motherboard, Sempron 3000+, 512MB DDR,

MSI Socket 754 motherboard $51

I plan to upgrade several old computers in my office, but later on I decided to just sell the old computers and then buy new one.

These computers will mainly use for office activities, so stability and compatibility with winxp is my main priority.

Anyway thanks DragonDoc for your recommendation.

I have 48 systems running in a law firm with the AMD processor (Sempron). They even use dual monitor setups. They are are running Win XP (SP-2+), 512MB, 80GB. These have been in service for about 9 months now and not a single hardware problem. They are perfect for most office uses. Anyway it is your choice. Good luck and thanks for your feedback.
