Hey everyone. I was curious if there was a way to disable searching on a flash drive, when you open any folder or anything up there's always a search feature on the upper right. Anyway to disable to for flash drives, hard drives etc, make them unsearchable?

Why would you want to stop searching? Not as if it's impossible to get around it anyway.

The only possible solution is the disable the search service, but that will mean you won't be able to search anywhere.

Hmm, cause on my computer I have it disabled for the whole computer so I can't search my drive, but on other computers I can. There must be some way to block drives or folders from being searched by the native search engine in W7.
