Im getting an annoying message everytime i try to play games that uses dvds not cds.
Message:
Cannot locate the DVD-ROM
Please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application
I can burn cds/dvds, Play dvd movies, explore dvds, install games from dvds, play games that uses cds.
My only problem is that i cant start up games with dvd.
Ive tried Mohaaacific assault (2004) and The godfather (2006)
and my dvd player is 6 months old. (its a burner to tho)
I thought this section would be best, since its my dvd player part of the player its something wrong with and not burning.
I was hoping someone else would chime in here, but...
I don't know for sure, but I read someone a week or so ago (I think it was here on Tom's Forumz) that got to someone in charge... (you know - a friend of a friend of a friend type grapevine, so take it with a grain of salt - but I hope it helps a little)... Anyways, I guess some games don't like burners... What I remember was there were 2 options: Buy a reader or get something like alcohol 120% and mount a rip of the dvd.
