well, you dont plan to use SATA, but some day you might want. You proably won't need 8 sata ports, but on the other way you have a sound card, which the .99 more board has (8 channel)... so i'd pick the extra sata ports.

Who knows why newegg has this product priced as they do. Incentives from the DFI? Got a good deal from the wholesaler?

But, he[[ for $.99 it's worth just for the SATAII and RAID5!!!!
