I cant seem to figure out why i am getting such a low score compared to what most people with the p4 3.2 are getting on 3dmark05 for the cpu score (I am only getting 3100).
Running:
P4 3.2 w/ HT (not EE)
1.75GB DDR3200 (crucial xms)
X800 XT (AGP) all in wonder
any ideas?
*my 3fmark graphics score is 5500 (so at least somewhere near what tomshardware ran their benchmark at)

You say you have 1.75GB, which I assume means you have mixed sticks, and that means Non-Dual Channel........found your problem...
yea, i kinda dropped the ball there, ya think thats the main prob?
upgrading my entire system when conroe comes out in a few months but till then just wanna get what i can out of this set up. (maybe AM2 but lookin like conroe for now)

I do think it's the main prob, because it is, unless there's something you're leaving out.
For starters you have odd amount of ram so your not using dual channel. but you may either have a driver conflict or something running in the back ground taking up all your cpu power. Open up your windows tasks manager and see what running and how much cpu usage it is using.
my retard self bought the ram at diff times and all diff sizes (1gb, 512, 256) so no sets of the same. oh well. computers are a learning process right? haha. hence why for my next system i will get advice on all parts on here before purchase
