7600GT

sorry man, it's just the way to go. Only a few dollars more.
OH SNAP!

You need pci express for that...

6600GT is a great agp card, but the x800 series or x850 series are faster from ati

I have the 6600gt and the 9800pro running on two computers I own and the BFG 6600GT OC is faster and makes full use of shader 2.0. Between the 6800XT and the 6600GT is a tough call. They have the same amount of pixel pipelines 8 but the XT is 256bit, but the memory runs @ 300/700 versus 500/1000 on the GT. I would imagine if you overclock the XT it will outperform the GT for sure, but stock versus stock its a tough call. I would see if you can find some benchmarks on the XT. In general you want to stay away from nvidia cards with XT, LE or ATI with SE. They are usually sorry versions of the original.

Yes, the 7600GT or the X800 series are much better, but in Argentina the 6800XT, 6600GT and 9800PRO, cost aprox. 200U$ and the 7600GT or X800 series cost more than 320 u$. It´s too much for me... :(
But thank you for your request.

Well forget those cards, get the 6800 GS, my friend has it, and he loves it, it is a little pricey tho, but well worth it

6800GS would be ideal, but they seem to be harder to find. If you can find one in AGP that would be the way to go. It as fast as the 6800GT.

The 6600gt would be a good buy for about $150 or even better would be X800gto for a few dollars more.I wouldnt be inclined to give over $200 as agp is finished and the 6800gs,7800gs and x850's dont give good value as you can get a 7900gt on pci for near enough the same price as those.Id say go for X800gto if you can find it if you cant 6600gt would do the job

Guys! read the entire thread. The guy says he's from Argentina where the cards he mentioned cost about 200 US. the 7600s cost 320 US.

He's not able to order from places like Comp USA or newegg. he's listing what he can afford at his local places.

BorlonX, if I were you, I would get the 6600GT and try and OC it a bit.
