yea so im gonna insert the "im new at this please help me" line here (read: i spent 10 minutes searching and gave up), but honestly I did try searching and couldnt find anything

anyways, speedfan tells me that my PSU is putting out 11.84V idle and down to 11.78 for its 12V output. I know this isnt good, but how bad is it? and what could possibly happen?

heres my PSU sunbeam NUUO 550W modular PSU

basically is it something for me to RMA and get a new one? I read a few reviews about this particular PSU before I bought it and none of them had anything bad to say about it

If the voltages are stable and within 5% of spec (for 12v 11.4 to 12.6) you're fine. Technically I think 10% is supposed to be 'in spec' but I like the tighter variance of 5%.

Personally I dont' like to see voltages drop under load, but 0.06 isn't much, so I'd probably say its ok, but keep an eye on it.
