Hi,

Anyone know anything about this board? It looks like it's well suited to my needs but I can't find any reviews or discussions of it anywhere! Is it any good?

My local supplier has the vanilla version and also a V1.1 version - I can't find any info on the web about the difference between the two - can anyone here enlighten me?

It is a very nice mobo for games, encoding, whatever..

No firewire though..

Chipset fan sometimes makes excessive noise.

NewEgg has reviews on it also.

I have the KN8 SLI which I believe is simalier to the Ultra. It works great for me although the firewall and network controller that come with it are really buggy and not even worth installing. Runs fine without them installed so overall I would say I am happy with it.
