OMG I basically have the same setup you do , I have the Zalman 9500 but I have 2 more 120mm fans in the side panel door and 2 x 7800 gtx ko's my idle temps are 29c idle, there was a big improvement over the retail box hsf. Under load it of course goes up but I never worry about overheating. I love my Zalman, I have a 7700c on my other athlon 64 3800 and the temps are about 4-5c higher in the same room with cool ambient room temps. somewhere in the 60's

unless of course my wife gets cold and turns on the heat at night :p

guess I should say that there are 3 intake and 2 exhaust. I love this case. Yeah its big but cooling is Oo !! I'll put it under some gaming load tonight and put up some numbers later.

ive got one fan in the door blowing on the video card..How are your temps so low? I do have to admit that my computer room is at like 76f cause I live in Texas..I once opened my window in the winter time when it was like 50f outside and the temps dropped like crazy.. What is your room temp where that stacker is?

Heres a dumb question that i have to ask...If i get more fans could it lower cpu temps at all? Or is it just the cpu hsf than does all the cooling for the cpu temps

highest I get inside my office is 68 degrees F. I live in the NW, Washington state. also my office is in the basement of my house so its stays cool year round. I tried 3 different heatsinks and am glad I bought the Zalman for sure!

Yes, because the cooler the ambient temperature in the case the cooler the air that the HSF uses to cool the CPU but you can't just introduce air into the case you have to get the warm air inside the case out so exhaust is just as important. My case has a side intake right over the CPU HSF and my HSF fan draws air down into the heat sink. Basically I take the air from outside my case directly into the HSF of the CPU instead of from inside the case.

No doubt that the stacker is a very nice case but since I'm going water cooling having the option of 8 120mm fans didn't interest me (never mind the noise) and it costs twice as much.

idk good air cooling isnt too bad especially if you ahve the foam rubber stuff you can but prebought for specific cases.
