I suggest a 4400+ instead. Extra cache can help. Not a noticable difference between a 4600+ and 4400+.

Also, I HIGHLY suggest a different mobo. I suggest an Epox or DFI.

Yeah, i see that the 4400 toledo has double the cache. Hmm...but the manchester performed better than the 4400... What is cache on a CPU exactly?

Cache on a CPU is the onboard memory that the CPU can hold temporarly.

Oh, thanks. I still don't know, would 1 mb of cache be better than 200 mhz of speed?

If you're considering Crossfire in the future, then maybe check out the new ASUS MB:

It's a little pricey and not as well developed as the nForce4 boards, but it's not that bad of a choice. If not, stick with ASUS or DFI

As for the CPU, base your decision off tomshardware's chart:

If you want to overclock, get some OCZ or Corsair RAM at DDR433~500.

Nothing wrong with that Epox board. The constant advice of stick with Asus or DFI boards in these forums is getting tiresome. I have no inherent problem with DFI, but if their boards are so great, why not say so by offering a 3 yr warranty instead of the paultry 1 yr? Epox boards overclock well, so if you're going to OC you're fine. If not, there are plenty of good, stable boards out there. Gigabyte and Foxconn make good boards at good prices as well.
