I am considering on taking back my 1705 duo core laptop and buy a XPS M170 with the included 7800 gtx video card. My current laptop now has the same specs as the xps machine but WITHOUT the 7800 gtx and the duo core. THe price on the XPS machine went down. Is it wise to keep this duo core machine or just exchange it with the XPS from dell? Would I notice machine difference from the non duo core?

I guess the matter is for the over all spec is the duo core better than the single cpu? I hear for desktops the single is really the way to go for NOW on anything. There may be a small margin on the duo core beating the single chip
