Hey this is the deal, Clean install on new system. XP home edittion SP2. The first Raptor was DOA. "ERROR CODE 0120" So I am in the process of having it RMA thru the egg. My Mobo is a Epox 9 NPA sli. Shipped with latest Bios. It has n- Vida force4 sli chipset. Have a AMD 4400 X2 CPU, with 2 gigs of matched 3200 XMS Corsair ram. Two 6800 GS cards in the slots. With Vf 700 Zalman fans on them. Everything checks out fine. Just wont see the Hard drive. Set the bios and have Sata 1/2 connections enabled. Did the floppy download off of Western Digitals sight. Did the F6 thing when prompted. I really only want the single Raptor for system loads, games like Fear, Doom, cod2. With no 0 RAID cuzz I only have the single Raptor. Will be using an external for storage. A Western Digital 250 gig Sata hd with 16 mb cache also. That will be connected to the Sata II ports from the silicon image Sil3132 chip. Let me know if there will be a brick wall with this set up? with the single Raptor option...

I have tried it on both. No dice on either.
