I've got a lovely Oppy with a good stepping waiting to be OC'd the hell out of (Hoping for about 2.8-3ghz) and I'm about to Order the RAM.

Originaly I was going to order OCZ's Platinium PC3200 because of the good Overclockability and great timings.

But someone recently mentioned to me I might be better off going with the PC4000 due to me overclocking my processor.

Does anyone have any imput on this? Be great for helping me order my ram, (ordering monday).

Cheers in adv.

I would suggest you go with PC4000 if you're overclocking. You'll have to lax the timings on PC3200 to overclock significantly and there's no guarantee how high it'll go.

Locky, did you get that Opteron yet. If so, what memory did you end up getting?

I have 1 gig (2x512) and was wondering the same question as you have. But the DDR4200 though. Was it worth the upgrade in memory?

Your response would be great, thanks.
