Archived from groups: comp.periphs.printers (More info?)
In the current issue of Popular Science (February 2005, pg.53) is 4-page
article on the principle and operation of the two common types of ink jets
used in printers. Article says they have about 3000 nozzles in the head.
But the best part if the article is how this technology is being looked at
for many other applications from auto fuel injectors (atomizes much better)
to depositing quick-dry layers of concrete for production applications.
I checked their popsci.com web site but this article was greyed out and not
available.
