i'm working with a photo lab who processes our jpg files and they don't like
all our ordered images in subfolders. i want to view all the files contained
within the subfolders on the same view so i can just send them the files and
no subfolders. using xp home and 98se.

You can expand all folders by clicking the plus sign on the top level folder
but there isn't a view that allows you to see all files in all folders at
the same time.
I would copy the necessary files out of each folder and place them in a
folder you might call "Photo Lab" and then send those to the lab.
