HOLD UP 7900GT, THE X1900GT IS ON ITS WAY!

I was browsing the NCIX forums and came across this lovely article which I hope to death is true.

This could be the card ATI needs to get bak in the game. A lot of thoughts went through my head while reading this artcile and now i'm considering holding up the purchase of my 7900GT.
Could this card be the next x800GTO2? The price of a 7900GT for x1900XT graphical power. One can only hope, me included. Hope to hear more from this, your thoughts?

Yeah, there have been rumors of the upcoming X1900 GTO... or GT. Whichever.

36 pixel shaders and a 256-bit memory interface should be very nice at $300...
