Hi all,
I have a fresh PC on which I just installed Activesync. I dont have my USB
dradle, but my axim has bluetooth and the PC has a bluetooth dongle. I am
able to create a com connection between the two devices.
However Activesync doesnt seem to see the Axim. It finds the com ports, but
then just ignores the fact that the Axim is connected to it.
Is it possible to create initial partnerships in this way? I think I have to
get to the connection settings; but clicking this seems to bring up the "get
connected" dialog, so I can't.

In the bluetooth manager on the axim you will have to add a new activesync
connection. After that's done both the axim and your laptop will be bonded
then you from there start activesync on the desktop. It's been a while
since I've last done this but I think you also have to open the bluetooth
manager and tap on the activesync connection you created earlier so when
activesync on the pc gets to the correct port it will see your device.
