Hp desktop sound problem

Hello,
I have installed all drivers of device manager successfully for windows 7 64 bit, restarted it but still built in sound is not coming?
Can any one help?

Make sure that the sound chip is active in BIOS.

Then go to Control Panel then slect Sound. Make sure that the onboard card is the default device. All sorts of things come with sound chips these days including HDMI GPU's. Sometimes they end up as default.
