which raptor combos should i choose

wuts up, which combo do you guys thinks is better

Option 1. Raptor 150+Western digital 4000YR (im a raid noob would raid 0 work with these two or would I have to do jbod bc they are not identical drives?)

Option 2. Raptor 150(2x) raid 0

Im looking for a combination of fast gaming hard drive(raptor) and a large hd for storage. I think the the first option i better for $/Gb, but 2x raptor seems tempting.( i read that the performance diff is minimal however between 1x and 2x) Which option do you guys think is better, im also open to any other suggestions...

1 raptor 74gb and 2*320gb wdc raid edition hard drives will be more then enough.

150gb raptor way too much :roll:

I just finished my new rig (last week). i faced a similar question.

Raptor Testing

Bascially, for gamming, raid won't make any difference. Go with your first option, that's what i did. I have a 150G raptor for primary and a WD 250G for storage.
