Radeon Cards in NForce4 mobos

Out of interest, does anyone know if fitting a PCI-E Radeon card into a PCI-E motherboard based on the nVidia NForce4 chipset causes the video to take a performance hit? Or on the other hand do nVidida cards get a boost from working with nVidia chipsets?

radeons work fine in Nforce mobos and Geforces work fine in Ati mobos.
