Okay well let's see, at the moment i have a P4 3Ghz, 2 * 1GB DDR2 and ... well a ghey onboard intel graphics chip. I'm looking for a new graphics card mainly to play fps games such as CS:S, DoD:S, Quake 4, BF2 , CoD2 etc etc...

So in a graphics card, I am willing to overclock it and buy whatever fan My motherboard is PCI-E too.

The 3 cards i've been looking at are :

http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/pro [...] _uid=98063

X800 GTO^2 Lite - £115 // $200 USD // $229 CAD

http://www.savastore.com/productin [...] 45&tid=279

X1800GTO - £164 // $286 USD // $327 CAD

http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Produ [...] ctID=13284

7600GT - £132 // $230 USD // $264 CAD

So, the differences between the cards ?

X800GTO^2 Doesn't support SM3, where as the other two do.
7600GT has 128Bit Memory, where as other two have 256.

Also another 7600GT ..

7600GT - Similar price to X1800GTO

What the hell is the differnce between the 7600's ? Is it worth the price increase ? So i'd like some help with this, what card...

X1800 GTO is worth the price increase if you're an overclocker, they have alot of headroom. Otherwise the 7600 GT is fine.

As far as difference between 7600 GTs, you're paying for warranty and brand. Do a little company research, but they should perform identically if clocked the same.

Is there a Zalman/Artic cooling/Any other fan for the X1800GTO ?

Okay after thinking about it, and looking voer even more benchmarks... I think for the price of the X1800GTO i could pay like an extra £30 for a 7800... it's performance margin over 7600 doesn't warrant the extra price. So a new question.... Any specific 7600GT's i should look out for ?

If i had the money for a 7800 or saw it being worth it i would, but really i don't ... I'm not wanting to play games in 1600*1200 With AA and AF at max. I'm quite happy with 1280×1024 or 1024x768.
