wanna get a quality sound card that would work gameing and music for less than a 100.00 and some speakers to hook up for my entertainment and they should be take lots of wattage cuz i like to JAM(also less than a 100.00)want to get a headset (with mic) for my gameing and not sure which one to buy ne suggestions??
Ok but as u said straight forward sound don't understand... I play AASF all the time and i need the mic and i didn't see any Grado with the mic but i hope they have elite sound because this game is very sound based so it needs to be a top notch sound quality headset for under a 100
You asked for more jam, Grados are an American-built, hand tuned (well-received in the gaming community) headphone company.
Their sound is more "forward" or livelier in the midrange and the upper bass.
Sennheiser would probably be more classical music oriented, as its a bit more accurate, but much mor elaid back in the mids. If "jamming" is your primary goal, I would lean toward the Grados. If comfort and long hours of critical listening is *actually* what you want instead of *jamming*, then sure, get some Sennheisers.
I don't know that much but thanks for the vote of confidence : P
The one thing you should neve be afraid to excercise as a buyer is the return policy. Some products just aren't for you, and sound is very subjective. Might end up you prefer the Sennheisers, who knows?
yes! my current plantronics that i use in bf2 are the final result after returning three (3!) different logitechs. The logitechs actually sounded pretty good, on par w/ the price around $30 but they flat HURT my head to wear them... I just kept trying the logitechs 'cause my z530 speakers sounded so good i wanted to keep the support there...
alas, plantronics proved to be good sounding AND comfortable which is just as important to me as I wear them for hours at a stretch.
Naw he's not that lol, unless you're joking. He has a pretty good handle on audio. I KNOW he was being sarcastic.
Things marketted specifically for the PC (speakers, headphones) are really aimed at first-time (uninformed) customers, who are generally 1) on a low budget 2) and/or *may* have a preference for West Coast Sound (the smily face equalizer), 3) may be purchasing speakers to look cool with their LCD screen and riced out aluminum case and shiny Logitech mice/KB.
Bose buyers are a totally different thing altogether, not only do they *think* they are purchasing for a high end/image product, they generally have not heard (or refuse to) audition a good setup. I kinda feel bad for them; they don't know what they are missing, and don't know they are in a price range where generally stuff is anywhere from 5 to 20 times more linear/accurate (at least on sine-wave analysis. Of course there are other tests which are equally important).
I realy do think BOSE RULZ BIATCH!!! [/close retarted noob]
Seifer is one of those "smilyface" EQ junkies thats is a know-nothing about anything!
One of those... Well... Example will say it all
"I got a 1000watt sub woofer and a 1000w amp and I will hook them up while knowing absolutly nothing else but those two numbers about my junk products! AND I PWN WITH IT!! HAHAHAHAHA!"
So yeah, anything that thumps and gets loud he will like! Expecially with his rap "music" (if you can call it that!)!
BOSE is crap. Pay so much for the name, and I have nfi why in the 1st place. The sound isn't top notch, and they aren't all that acurate. I'll pit an Onkyo reciever and a set of Vamps up against a BOSE system any day
Oh is that so clob well thanks to you and astralite i'm learning a few things so please don't insult someone that is looking for help from yourself and others it really really makes u look bad....
