difference between 6600Gt and 6600TD...Performance

my first post here
i wanted to buy a 6600Gt asus card but its not available .
The only available card is either 6600 TD or a 6600Gt from Leadtek
I want a 256 MB PCI card.
Can u tell me if there is a lot of difference between 6600Gt and 6600TD and should i go in for a TD card if GT is not available...or should i buy leadtek 6600Gt card

You should be able to find one for under $150, and Nvidia's regular geforce drivers are really good in 3dsMax (for non-professional cards).Since you are planning on using it for 3dsmax you might try turning it into a Quadro. Should give a noticeable improvement. Don’t know if it will work for the 7600 to be honest but worth a try.
