OCZ 2x 1GB 184-pin DDR 400 Tcl = 2.5; not 2.0; why not?

My Problems/Questions:

(1) How can I get CAS latency (Tcl) = 2.0? OCZ product info says that this RAM should be 2-3-2-5-1T;  But it won't go that fast on Auto settings in BIOS.  So I tried to set it manually, but then computer freezes up, or won't boot at all.  The lowest I can go is Tcl = 2.5. But OCZ says this RAM can go to Tcl = 2.0, so what gives?  I also tried to manually increase DRAM voltage to 2.65V from 2.60V, in BIOS (BIOS has only .05V increments); but this caused computer to crash.  So got any ideas?  Is there some incompatability with ASUS mobo and/ or AMD cpu?  Or am I missing something?

(2) Can I get my RAM to go any faster? Or have I got it set as fast as possible with the above settings.  My main concern is to play online games on this computer (FEAR, COD2, BF2, etc.) at the highest possible settings, and get the highest possible frames per second, and get the most bandwidth. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can improve my RAM settings to get that done?

(3) I tried to overclock my CPU by 10%, but this causes FEAR to freeze up, and it gave me no increase in fps in FEAR or DOOM3. Does this have anything to do with the RAM settings?  I am kind of noobish at this stuff so please give me any and all help that you can.

One guy that you should definetly get a hold of is AndyOCZ over at DFI-street. He is a rep for OCZ and helps people troubleshoot problems with their OCZ memory. If anyone is going to know, im sure it will be him.

this ram will do the timmings it says on the packaging. I have this same ram on my DFI SLI DR Mobo which runs at cas2.3.2.5 1T with no problems. voltage at 2.8v
