It depends a lot on your cooling system, your memory's overclockability, your willingness to perform Vdrop mods and your overall savoir-faire.

BTW, you could have posted that in the AMD CPU Overclocking section since it is too specific to belong in here IMHO.

no one really looks there tho sid, cuz this guy posted about his cooler in coolers section and didnt get a reply poste din CPU got 2 pages worth of replies but i agre eit is out of place, but u should prolly head over to an actual OC forums i dunno google it Overclocker.com or .net something of that sort

My friend took his to 2.9. No $hit. But he's running it at 2.65gigies right now, cause his memory sux. He told me that he plans on taking it to 2.8ghz when he gets new memory.

Also, if you can, get the Opty 146, it has better stepping options.
