Noob question regarding A8N5X and Sata2

Would using a A8N5X (which only has SATA 1.5 Gb/s) with a Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s create any stability issues? Is there anything I would need to be aware of to use this motherboard and hardrive together smoothly?

SATA 3.0 is backward compatable. It needs to be or it would alienate a lot of users.
