When I try to run certain programs, I get a "This program cannot run because your processor does not support the SSE instruction set." Which, obviously, it does. I am wondering if this issue could be hardware or possibly software issue (some type of driver i am not aware of.)
I get this message whenever I try to run Adobe Premiere, either 7, Pro1.5 or Pro 2. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi grizz, long time no see..
Sorry, but the tbird are not compatible with sse instructions..
Really? Well what the... I could have sworn that I've used this program on my computer before. Just not for a really, really long time. Do AthlonXP's support SSE? If so, I'll steal my dads.

Athlon Thunderbird does not support SSE. If those apps are compiled to use and can't work without SSE, than you can try with older versions or replace the CPU. Nothing more to do about it...
Most s462 boards are supporting Palomino which is the 180nm version of AthlonXP(an updated Thunderbird with SSE).
