If Windows 7 64 bit version, requires 64bit driver. Perhaps try the Vista driver on Windows 7 system.

failing that uninstall the driver and reboot your pc - then plug your printer in and see if windows locates a driver for you.

Does the printer show up in the control panel?

Go to Control Panel/Printer

Does it show as being selected as the default printer and that it is "ready"?

on the website (which i only found a cx9400f) there are windows 7 drivers. Is the printer set to the default printer, when you hit print in any program is it listed as the printer it's going to print on or is there anything else.
