I go for regual mouse, I like optical mouses but they have to little 'resistance' and thus move to easy, while I am used to a 'stronger' mouse.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground  .

At work I have 3 laptops and a desktop. I prefer to use the J Key on the laptops. It's just a lot quicker. It's in the middle of the keyboard so you just use your finger to move it and use your thumb to click and then you can start typing again. I end up using the laptops more often than the desktop. We kind of trade off laptops daily but I usually use an IBM X21 & IBM T22 laptop.

But hey I'm all for a compliment.

Just a quick question - is english your first language?
If not and canadian french is your 1st languange then you would appear smarter than me if we were to talk in that language.

Trackball! I've been using Trackballs for years and I've gotten used to them for precision work.

lol, why is a trackball evil? I love my Microsoft TrackBall Optical and my Logitech TrackMan Optical and my Logitech TrackMan 2 (I believe that's what it's called, it's a very very old trackball).

Trackball all the way. I've tried the conventionals, but they just don't provide the precision I need. I use CAD a lot and edit images, I need all the help I can get. Also, it's not as vulnerable to vibration moving it at random. I've got Logitech's cordless Trackman and it works perfectly. Easy to clean, too.
