x1800xt or x1900xt

I was recently convinced to change from buying a 7900GT and look at ATI.

20" Widescreen
Not a hardcore PC gamer but want things smooth and fast when i do play (COD2/FEAR/etc...)


Is the x1900xt worth the extra $200+?

Is the x1800xt good for 1600x1050?

The X1900XT is superior to the X1800Xt at higher resolutions, and you get the benefit of ther extra pixel shader processors on the X1900XT, making it ideal for shader-heavy games like FEAR and Oblivion. And besides, both have AVIVO, so for video playback/encoding, you just can't go wrong with either choice. Personally, if you can muster the money, go for the X1900XT, it will last longer in the end of the day.
