So you don't need nVid chipset for SLi or ATi chipset for Crossfire?

what does this Asus P5WD2-E have that other mobos don't? i'm not sure how much overclocking i'm really going to do... i have a nice psu and a lot of case cooling so I _could_ in theory... i think my system temp is 31 celcius. But I don't know if my RAM or my chip really will give me like a "rock my world" change if I overclock them.
