I assume it's 3DMARK 06? If it's 06, that is normal score with that CPU (actually it's a bit under, but o well). If that's in 05, you got some SERIOUS issues my friend.

An x1900XTX can draw 20 Amps under full load, that accumulates to about 240 Watts of power, you must make sure you have a 30 Amp +12v RAIL on your PSU and at least 550 Watts.

What test? 1024x768 No AA?

What is your Video Card settings at?

If I set my Image quality to best performance I can squeez out 7290 in 3DMARK06.

If I set my image quality to best quality I score a 7030-7120.

Both of those test are at 1024x768 with no AA.

i agree .. default settings ...... are a good indicator of your performance that way you can compare it with others
set catalist to default , set forceware to default, set 3d mark to default ...

indeed ..but in my opinion 3dmarkxx is not necesary a performance indicator.....i use it ..for example ..for integrity check.....for example i run 3dmakxx in a loop for few hours .. i meansure the temperatures, etc
if the sistem is strong enough to run these tests for hours at different level of details ...it will be strong enough to run the desired games
