How could you possibly have gotten an Asus board with bugs? It must have been a fake.

I had an Asus mainboard with bugs - it was an A7A-266-E ... Ali chipset ... oh, hang on, that wasn't bugs, that was cuz I'd just crushed the die on my Duron 950 MHz and the CPU retailer blamed my m/b and told me to go see them, and the m/b retailer blamed my CPU and told me to go see them.

My Gigabyte m/b had a lot of bugs - GA-7NNXP, first it wouldn't boot at all, then it wouldn't boot unless I unplugged my GPU's extra power cable (and the GPU would freeze the system if I did that, so I had to unplug, switch on, quickly re-plug!!!), then when I finally got DDR400 and a FSB400 CPU it got happy, like it just didn't like having the lower spec CPU and RAM even though it's not supposed to be a prob.

hmmmm, not much useful info for you there, but I'm on a posting spree - if your new m/b doesn't work on day one, send it back - if money isn't a problem, you'll be alright, money talks and folks want yours, so they'll help you

been having problems since i bought it, like windows not booting because i had ,,no hard disk 8O ,or no optic unit(dvd-rom),or strange procesor frequencies(my 3500+ was doin 1800 mhz) and after a bit of googling i found a lot of asus buyers with similar problems.

the point is i DONT want headaches for those prices, but that mb lreally looks nice

well next time return it back to asus if it was still under warrenty !!!

before buying ur A8N32-SLI! Update the bios of ur A8N-SLI ? (worth giving a try by visiting the asus wbsite (well i'm still a beginer i might be incorrect :S ) )

well, then, try to find some customer reviews on google before buying ur A8N32-SLI . goodluck about it!!
