nTune BIOS flash utility...OUCH! Tags: Motherboards BIOS Support Flash Last response: April 16, 2006 3:27 AM in Motherboards Share Crashman Motherboard Expert April 15, 2006 11:24:39 AM Yes, I tried the nTune BIOS flashing utility, the board died. I ended up having to do a hot flash, using another board. By the way, Uniflash doesn't support most of these newer BIOS chips, the version that did support them was never released, and the next version is an earlier version, with a licence update. I ended up having to use AwardFlash and the /QI switch. Remember that switch! I was guessing the nTune utility "should" work as it was recommended by the mobo manufacturer. | Report abuse Ask the community Publish Tom's Hardware>Forum>Motherboards>nTune BIOS flash utility...OUCH!> Related ressources: ForumnTune ForumOverclocking a 8800 gtx with ntune ForumBad Bios Flash ForumXFX 790i Ultra - Don't use the Nvidia Control Panel BIOS Flash !
