Just one question, if i format my hdd, then reinstall xp -
will i be able to activate windows again (using the same
cd i got with my pc) or wont i be able to because it
thinks i have installed it on 2 pcs?

You left one piece of info out. Are you re-installing to the same computer?
If so you can reinstall as many times as you like. Read here for a good
