Belkin Firewire probs on NFORCE A393

Hi,
I've just upgraded my motherboard (ECS NFORCE4 A393) and CPU (Athlon 64 3500+) and now the PCI firewire card I was using is not being seen by Windows XP Pro. Before the upgrade and according to the manual XP will (and did) see the card automatically as a Texas Instruments 1389. However since upgrading the card is not recognised, even if i manually try and add the hardware. has anyone had similar problems or know of a solution?

What service pack are you using?

Service Pack 2.
Is this a problem with SP2 do you think?
I'm sure the card used to work under SP2, although the carc had been installed and working before I upgraded to SP2 maybe. This time I installed SP2 first then all my drivers.

It was a Servicepack 2 problem.
