I use Kodak picture paper (heavy weight), always get good results at 10 x 8

I am going to guess that you use the settings found on the Kodak site. If
not review them and see if they make your prints even better.

Depends on what I'm printing, If I want a realy good photo style print I
chose the Premium glossy paper, Photo RPM, Photo enhance and not high speed.
Takes a while to print but gives excelent results at 10 x 8.
