4 x 512MB or 2 x 1GB ? on Intel 945P board with PD9XX CPU

I learned that on AMD platform 2 x 1GB is better. So what about on Intel platform? 8O

No matter what platform it is, 2*1 gb is better than 4 individual modules. With 4 modules, your memory bandwidth will decrease, and you will see a loss in performance.
