hi,
My Epson Stylus 440 is printing in wrong color combination. For eg.,
in word pad where you can change the color of the text you're about to
print, i change the color to say brown but then when i print it it
comes out another colour which is red. Then when i change it to yet
another color it come out printed in totally another black becomes
yellow etc. Also i havn't got it to print black yet.

Picture prints are also usualy in one or two colors only, with one
color dominating the total picture.

I downloaded and am using the original Epson driver 440 for my printer
from epsons sites. Ink monitoring is good for all color, what could
be the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Could be a blocked nozzle - do a nozzle check pattern, it should look
something like this

If all the colours are there, then either there's a driver issue (try
downloading the latest drivers from Epson's website), or the printer is
faulty, or somebody has been clever and refilled the ink cartridges with the
wrong colours :)

Did you run a nozzle test and, if so, how does that look (ink monitoring
just suggests all the colors have ink in the cartridges, but not that
the heads are all printing).
