I'd like to build the DIY equivalent of a Buffalo Terastation NAS:

I'm looking for a case recommendation. I think the Antec TX1088AMG and the Aspire/Chenming/Chieftec/Gigabyte/Raidmax/Thermaltake/etc derivatives are too large.
I don't really care if the motherboard has to be MicroATX, or if the drives mount in one of those 5.25" 4-in-3 modules. It doesn't even have to have a dedicated optical or floppy drive. The main idea is 4+ (ideally 5+) easily replaceable drives, in something smaller than a full tower.

Any thoughts?

i found the Silver Stone TJ05

it has 8 internal HDD bays, most for the money, next step would be a midtower from Lian Li but that goes into the $200+
