Hi,
I have recently purchased a used Canon BJC8000. I can't seem to find any
information about this printer. The information in the user manual is sparse
to say the lease. The printer, although slow, seems to print text very well,
but it will only print 8.5 x 11 photos. If I use 4x6 paper, the margins seen
to be extreme. I only get a partial image. The printer will let me select
4x6 paper, but not glossy paper. It will only let me select 4x6 "glossy
photo cards". I have tried everything I can think of, but have not been
successful. I have tried ACDSee, but that didn't work either.
Is anyone out there who is familiar with this printer?
I purchased this printer to take with me for a three month stay in
Florida. I didn't intend to print any photos, but now with all the exotic
wild life around, I find I would like to print out some interesting photos
that I have taken now., but I don't want to have to purchase another
printer. I have a Canon IP 4000 at home.
Any help with this problem or information about this printer will be
appreciated.
Thanks.
Don Davis
