Pentium D 925

Hello, I was going to get a PD805 but i heard about a PD925.
Can any one give me in formation about this. Is it a Conroe model or just a slow 900 series? Thanks in advance.

It will be a 3GHz 65nm Presler processor based on Netburst and looks to also use a 800MHz FSB. Early reports say that it should also have EIST, but it may well be disabled like the 805D to allow a wider reject base to be applied and to differentiate product lines. In any case, the primary different between the 930D and the 925D is that the 925D won't support VT.

The 925D will be released at a similar price-point to the 805D in Q3 around the same time Conroe launchs. The 930D will be end-of-lifed at that time to avoid overlap and the 940D will drop to replace it.
