Media Center PC

Hi I am looking to build a Media Center PC for recording TV shows (like Tivo), watching DVDs, and converting my signal for HDTV.

I have the CPU P4 3ghz, 1 gig of ddr memory and dvd reader, I am looking for a case, motherboard and video/tv card.

I will need new to use the MCE remote control so IR will be needed.

I have build computers before, I just don't know the hardware needed for this as I have never tried this.

I don't want to blow a ton of $$ but I want it to work well !!

Any suggestions are appreciated.
