Hi Folks,
I need to get a SIMPLE firewall. I once had McAfee and I had to take it
off because it was so complicated that it would not even let me on the
internet! I need one that is easy to understand and use. I am a novice at
this computer even after using it for a while. I do not understand all the
computer jargon. I need easy instructions.

There's also another called Kerio Personal Firewall. www.kerio.com

Try ZoneAlarm. <www.zonelabs.com> or, when you want an older, leaner
version <www.oldversion.com>

I installed Zone Alarm, Now I am having trouble getting my page after
signing in on People PC. It comes up with unavailable instead my opening
page. What am I doing wrong?

I personally don't use Zone Alarm, but I'm sure you have to make sure that
you have to configure it for internet access. Usually you'll get a prompt
asking if you want to allow that connection or access. Use the help in Zone
Alarm.

I don't know what People PC is, but I suppose it's an ISP.

You gave your browser permission to access the internet? Then it *should*
work. Does it work when you disable ZA? Can you ping your page?

Thank you, I got it so it will allow me to get my page. The ZoneAlarm
finally started working right and asked me the right questions about PC Pal.
that is what the page is called. It is okay now. Yes, PeoplePC is an ISP.
